About Me

Hello! My name is Michelle Huynh, and I am a first year Informatics major studying at the University of California, Irvine. I am hoping to explore more of what Informatics has to offer and learn about the different specializations available, such as Human-Computer Interaction.

In Humanities Core, I feel that the material that we learn is extremely applicable to our everyday lives, ranging from a wide range of studies. Through my blog, I hope to be able to talk more about the information we learn through lecture and seminar, seeing how it interacts with the modern society. I find the link our theme, Empire and its Ruins, holds with the modern world to be extremely interesting. The goal of this blog is to bring up topics that I hold a strong interest in, drawing from things we grazed the surface of during class and build a deeper analysis.

Through this blog, I hope to be able to improve my writing as well as gain a stronger understanding of how to run an effective blog. I plan to learn more about how to improve the user experience of this blog and make it visual appealing and engaging to my audience.
